your disciple pathway

what is
your disciple pathway?

As followers of Jesus, we’re called to continual growth. Just as a shepherd is called to take care of their flock, we must intentionally nurture our spiritual growth. Colossians 1:28 reminds us that we are to grow in our maturity with Jesus. Whether you’re just starting or have been walking with Christ for years, there’s always a next step. Embrace your disciple pathway with humility, knowing that God’s grace meets you at every step. Let’s keep pressing forward, growing deeper in our relationship with Jesus and with others!

your next steps

gather

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

~ Hebrews 10:24-25

Regular gathering with your church services is essential for deepening your faith, where you engage in worship, receive Biblical teachings, and form genuine connections with fellow believers.

Next Step. Participate in one of our weekend worship services, engage with the teaching of the Word, and interact with other CCO family members. This regular commitment strengthens your faith and connection to the Body of Christ.

group

Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

~ Acts 2:46-47

Jesus modeled that engaging in a small group provides mutual support, meaningful interaction, and accountability, leading to your growth with Jesus.

Next Step.  Join a small group to engage deeply with others through Bible study, prayer, and sharing life, promoting spiritual and personal growth in a supportive setting.

baptism

Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.

~ Romans 6:3-4

Water baptism by immersion is a public declaration of your faith in Jesus Christ. It symbolizes your identification with His death, burial, and resurrection, marking your new life in Christ.

Next Step.  As a professing disciple of Jesus, you are commanded to be baptized in water when you believe and surrender your life to Christ. This act of obedience demonstrates your commitment to follow Him and symbolizes the death of your old life and the resurrection of your new life in Jesus.

give

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

~ 2 Corinthians 9:7

Giving financially is both an act of worship and shows trust in God’s provision. It supports CCO ministries and advancing God’s Kingdom.

Next Step. Begin giving prayerfully and faithfully to your church. Through the diligent stewardship of our leaders, your giving will support various ministries, outreach programs, operational expenses, missionaries, new churches, and more, enabling CCO to fulfill the Great Commission.

serve

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

~ 1 Peter 4:10

Serving others allows you to use the gifts and talents God has given you to benefit the Body of Christ and fulfill God’s greater purpose for your life.

Next Step. Get involved in a ministry or service opportunity within the church or community. Whether you contribute through hospitality, helps, teaching, administration, or another area, your efforts help strengthen your CCO family and expand the reach of God’s Kingdom

multiply

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

~ Matthew 28:19-20

Jesus’ final command urged every believer to become everyday disciple makers. By intentionally building relationships, sharing your faith, and inviting others to join you in following Jesus, you participate in the Great Commission as a disciple maker.

Next Step. Jesus provided both the message and method of the Great Commission, focusing on inviting others to follow Him, be changed, and joining His mission to make disciples everywhere. At CCO, we embody these principles in our Disciple Making Groups (DMG), which are central to equipping you to grow and become an everyday disciple maker.
