“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
Chris grew up in Covina, California. Born into a Christian home, Chris doesn’t have a radical conversion story. However, he did spend a number of years living outside of God’s Will for his life. During these years the Holy Spirit was lovingly convicting him to repent, that he turn back to God and enjoy the loving relationship He wanted with him. God was constantly reminding Chris of the awesome truth that He loved him; calling him to come back home to the true joy, fulfillment, peace, and rest only found in a relationship with the Lord. Although not perfect, and although he still falls short (and always will), Chris continually thanks God he’s not where he use to be.

It was in Covina, in the eighth grade, where Chris met his beautiful wife Jacque. They have been married for eighteen years, and God continues to bless them through their three children: Zoe (15), Nevaeh (12), and Braven (10). Chris served as a firefighter in the United States Air Force from 1997-2001. He continued his career in the fire service as a civilian when his active duty tour came to an end. Chris has served our military community as a firefighter for eighteen years, the last four of which have been with Camp Pendleton Fire Department. As a firefighter, Chris is able to help address temporal needs that often times result from the spiritual war that rages all around us. As a pastor, Chris enjoys watching God heal both the temporal and eternal Spiritual needs of others.

It was through the worship and praise of God and His Word that the warrior King David’s heart was “steadfast” in the face of both physical and spiritual enemies. The wonderful blessing and opportunity to worship and praise God, and His Word, are ours to be enjoyed as well. It is the great privilege of Chris’s life to point others to God, and watch the amazing results God accomplishes in the lives of those lived for Him.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 3:23-24)
